Santika Premiere Linggarjati Kuningan

The four-star Hotel Santika Premiere Linggarjati – Kuningan is designed to accommodate families on vacation as well as business travellers. It has a lot of openings and floor-to-ceiling windows, which let guests enjoy the beautiful Mount Ceremai and paddy fields view, at the same time allowing an abundance of fresh air and sunshine to come in.

The lobby is embellished with an eye-catching artwork behind the reception desks, which in a glance might remind you of the ocean, the clouds or a mountain. It is inspired by the iconic elements of Kuningan city, which are symbolized in the city’s coat of arms: the rivers, the mountain, paddies, and a brass basin. The finishing of the floor uses marble pieces in grey shades to represent the stones that are quite predominant to be seen around the hotel.

The surrounding nature is one of the sources of inspiration for Tata Wastu Asia to design the hotel’s interior. The dark blue and soft pink are taken from the view of Mount Ceremai at dawn when it’s covered by a thin layer of fog tinged with sun rays, while the cream accent is inspired by the embankments in paddy fields.

The blue feathers of the rare Ciung Mungkal Jawa birds (Cochoa azurea), endemic to Indonesia and only seen in mountain forests and foothills, inspired the shades of blue used on the walls and the hanging artwork in the hotel’s restaurant.

Boasting Modern Tropical style with a touch of contemporary art deco, the interior is rich with geometric shapes and a wide range of vibrant colours. A lot of wood is used for the furniture, designed in a simple style to boost the resort concept. All loose furniture are custom-made, designed with relatively low height so as not to obstruct the outside view.

The guest room designs are clean with playful shapes and colour combination, yet quite subdued. It is meant to create a soothing feeling, a sense of calmness and spaciousness, yet still exciting especially for the younger guests.
