Kampi Legian Bali
Facelift renovation after closed for years by pandemic and changed its brand, from Amaris (Bed & Breakfast) to Kampi (Life Style Hotel) is quite challenging, especially with limited time and budget.
For example; minor additions to the façade from the architect, remain the walls as much as possible, re-covering the doors, maintaining the room’s floor and sanitary ware which can still be used. All of this was done so the hotel could revive with a new face
We proposed include providing direct access to the swimming pool from each room’s terrace door. Now this hotel hotel has a pool access room which definitely gives more value and options.
Architect gives each balcony with blue paint to give some accent and contrast, and represent beach style looks.
The Legian area is still one of the tourism hotspot. They usually walk along the pedestrian, enjoying the area and local bar/café and shops. We thought the All Day Dining should be open as much as possible, remove the wall, so people can see thoroughly and feel welcome, not hesitate even they want to have drink only.
Semi open lounge for relaxing at the poolside, brings warmth and casual feelings for the guest. Natural wood arm chair, pale blue sofa and natural rattan weaved pendant lamp gives tropical beach resort ambience.
Easy maintenance homogenous tile wall treatment with blueish geometrical and floral motives and pattern could give a little bit Mediterranean tropical style villas with the touch of yellow for the accent. Wooden ceramic tile floor remain as existing.
The corner room condition became 2 room bays Suite Room, so it eventually have direct pool access.
